A Good Day

I felt like a good mom today. I had the boys do their jobs and then I did mine and the house ended up rather clean. I actually did school regardless of it being summer. However, it was mingled with jumping into our little kiddy pool and there was a lot of bare bottoms on wet boys. We had and astronaut dinner which consisted of quesadillas (apparently, astronauts eat a lot of tortillas) dried fruit, and juice made from juice crystals. We put everything in bags and velcroed it to our trays (so it wouldn't float away of course!) And then for Family Home Evening, we went out to some fields where we lit a huge flying lantern and chased it until it was too high and far to get....thankfully it started raining the second it started going down....

I needed this day.
